It's almost our last day in Singapore, and why not go for a little run along Clark's Quay?
It started well and cheerfully, but then I started to falter. Every step was hard work and it was really difficult to put on a brave bottom going over this very steep bridge.
By the end I was praying for the traffic lights to be on red so that I could quietly collapse on to the handy bollards and get a breather.
That's a 5.4k that I don't want to repeat. Hope the next parkrun goes better.
After recovering surprisingly quickly back at the hotel, I went for a nice swim in the pool and then a fancy lunch with Daz.
In the evening we went back to the Marina to watch the fountains. This time we got there early and claimed a spot right in the middle of the display, and admired the view before the start.
It was so, so much better and so glad that we went back to see it.
