We set out for a walk today and came across the runners in the Singapore marathon. The race started at 4.30am to avoid the heat of the day and they were about 5 hours in to it at this point, although we were quite near to the finish.
I particularly like this photo because a gang of chickens chose this moment to cross the road through the runners.
Our next task then was to work out how to cross the road ourselves. We walked back along the course and over a pedestrian bridge heading towards the gardens.
These strange bears welcomed us in and then we just enjoyed the sights.
It has been a few years since our last visit and all of the foliage has grown so much that for a while we couldn't even find the super trees.
There was a bit of a Jurassic Park theme going on in one area, and Darren is about to get eaten by what I think is a triceratops.
Then we got to a beautiful waterlily lake and people were desperate to get extra special photos there. These ladies had come dressed for the part and posed for ages to get it just right.
Finally, on the way out we found a whole Christmas Wonderland village, with lots more posing going on.
