Last night we walked down to the Marina to see the show.
We weren't in the best position to see the images that get projected onto a wall of water, but there was quite a strong wind blowing in our direction, so instead we got sprayed from head to toe in a fine mist. Still spectacular though.
At least it wasn't cold. Then we went to watch the light display at the supertrees. This was disappointing as all of the songs were Christmas themed, and we couldn't see too well as we got stuck behind some large plants.
We are probably a bit spoilt because in the past we sat right underneath the trees, but this time that wasn't possible.
Today we caught a bus to the edge of Singapore, and walked across the causeway to Sentosa Island.
The whole island is now a leisure resort and has some big attractions. Not for us though as we had free tickets for the crazy golf.
That's rushing ahead though, and first I wanted to go on the high walkway though the trees.
Great views of the ships waiting for cargo in the bay and the city in the distance.
The high bridge took us to the end of the island and the old British Fort Siloso.
It had a really interesting museum and some realistic mock ups of the British soldiers trying to defend the island from the Japanese in the second world war.
Then it was back down to sea level and a stroll along the beach.
Then to the main event of the day.
It wasn't actually crazy golf, but instead it was like a tiny normal golf course. That didn't matter as I still took three or four shots at almost every hole, and by the end of 18 hole round Daz was ahead by five shots.
