Saturday again, and this time we are in Singapore for the West Coast Park parkrun.
I don't know why they had such a tiny photo frame and we could only fit one head in it at a time.
We both looked a lot more cheerful at the start than after the finish, as it was a grueling hot and humid run.
We were both red and sweaty after the run, then on the bus back we were chilled and dried by the over enthusiastic Aircon, and afterwards we l warmed up again and were almost back to normal temperature on the walk back to our hotel.
In the afternoon we made a trip to Chinatown which was just on our doorstep.
It was an interesting mix of beautifully painted old Chinese shop houses with modern skyscrapers towering over them.
We had a nice time browsing the very upmarket shops, but in the end decided that we could probably buy the same things a lot cheaper in the Kuala Lumpur Chinatown. I do hope so as I saw some lovely cushion covers, so fingers crossed that we find them.
Tonight we went out for a nice meal for my birthday, and had a lovely Italian in Chinatown.
