After visiting the White Temple I learnt that it was also designed and paid for by the same artist - Ajarn Chalermchai Kositpipat.
Not a name that sticks easily in ones memory.
Ps it lights up and changes colour every evening at 7,8 and 9pm while a specially written song about Chiang Rai is played over the tannoy.
