Kampong Glam

We are still avoiding walking while Darren's feet are mending, so we have been catching buses everywhere. As you might expect of Singapore, they are very efficient, but the surprise is how frequent they are.

We pick a destination on Google, click the public transport button and there is a bus going there within about three minutes from really close to our hotel. 

It works the same in reverse, but only for Darren. My Google button always gets confused and I think that it is just being annoying on purpose. 

Anyway, today we went to Kampong Glam. It is a beautiful little area with a huge mosque and lots of little shops and cafés.
