Equestrian afternoon session

Great morning session at the stadium. Really impressed by a lot of the athletes, particularly a blind 200 metres runner who broke the world record and wore a sparkly eye mask. Also saw Richard Whitehead from Nottingham win the 200 metres final with fantastic crowd support.
Made our way on the Docklands Light Railway to Greenwich to see the afternoon equestrian session.
It is very strange, so far they have done a dressage session and the little girls behind us think it's really boring - so do we to be honest.
All of the riders do the same route and then right towards the end of the routine all of the crowd start silently waving. Don't know why, but we are joining in enthusiastically.
Oh no, the next session has started and I think it's the same as the first one. Daz has got his book out and started reading it.

    1. How I won the yellow jumper by Ned Boulting. More tour de France than dressage. Should maybe have been Riders by Jilly Cooper. Pleased you are keeping up.
