We arrived today in Stratford upon Avon and are looking forward to a weekend of culture, good company and sunshine - hopefully - or two out of three anyway.
We kicked it off this afternoon with a walk from our campsite along the river Avon to William Shakespeare's birthplace.
Fortunately, it is right in the centre of Stratford and it is very picturesque. There was hundreds of tourists flocking around, but for some reason the crowds cleared just as I took my photos, so it appears as if the whole place is deserted.
