Usually when we go on a day out we know roughly what to expect and enjoy it, although occasionally it is disappointing and London Zoo springs to mind. But every now and then it is absolutely fantastic and exceeds all of our expectations, and today was one of those days.
The weather was gorgeous and we drove to the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. I was very keen on it because I had read that the gardens were lovely and I expected them to be separated from the animals, but actually there was beautiful planting and landscaping in and around the enclosures. I took more photos of plants....
.... but really the animals were the stars of the show. Darren took loads of photos and here are a few examples.
