The mighty Loire

We have changed our plan to stay close to the northern coast of France, as the weather there is terrible.
Instead we have driven south and have arrived in the Loire Valley. I am not sure that the weather is much better here, but we are gambling that 200 miles further south should make some difference.
We are just on the outskirts Blois and the river in the late evening sunshine is looking lovely.
Oops, it has just started raining again, as I can hear it bouncing off the roof of the van, but at least it has stopped hurtling sideways.
