Chilling out at the Shwedagon Pagoda

We saw very few westerners at the Pagoda, and those that were there wandered about taking photos and looking through binoculars.
The locals however, had come to relax. Many were asleep amongst the Bhuddas, lots of others had bought picnics and sat around in the shade chatting to friends and family.
One little girl was running around banging gongs and ringing bells and a strange statue had rolled up his trouser leg to show off his tattoo.
