We are spending the week on Penang in a flat that Darren found on a website called airbnb that puts people in touch, and it is a bed and breakfast at someone's own home.
We are staying in a lovely 21st storey apartment with a sea view and a swimming pool and gym. We are on about our fifth day here and we haven't seen the owner for three days so we basically have the place to ourselves.
The only downside is that the bed is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. Daz says not to worry as I will be spending the whole summer camping on the ground in a tent so I might as well get used to it now.
It is Friday night and we are looking forward to a treat later as we have been to the supermarket and bought some cereal and proper (we hope) milk for our tea.
It was supposed to be for tomorrow's breakfast but we can't wait that long.
